After some building work to provide a digging bed for the children, they helped to transport the topsoil into it. Since completion, they have used this daily. A lot of knowledge about weight and transport is being developed in the gravel pit, and all the children are enjoying digging for treasure in the digging bed. A bug hotel has been created, to encourage minibeasts and small wildlife. We are hoping to attract even a hedgehog, if we are lucky!
