Mental Health and Wellbeing

There is a Mental Health Cafe available to adults in the community which runs every Monday from 8.30 - 10.00 a.m. in the Community Centre.

Young Minds is a charity that provides young people with the tools to look after their mental health. Their website is full of advice and information on what to do if you’re struggling with how you feel as they work with parents, carers and young people.

Mind is charity that supports individuals experiencing mental health problems. This section of their website explains difficulties you may face as a parent with a mental health problem, support available and suggestions on how to help yourself and your children.

My Self Referral is a new NHS website for young people aged under 18 to self-refer for mental health issues.

It contains useful information on a range of issues, a link to self-refer for support without visiting their GP and links for crisis support.
