O.P.A.L. is our lunchtime provision we offer to all the pupils in our school from Reception - Year 6. It is an inclusive provision, rooted in the belief that all children should have the opportunity to play, explore, and be curious and imaginative during their free time. We consider this provision to be as important as any other Curriculum subject and as such it is meticulously planned and delivered to actively engage every pupil, regardless of their age or need. 

All our Play Team are trained according to the O.P.A.L standards of supervisory play, as well being First Aid trained, and are committed to delivering outdoor provision that is engaging and stimulating for all pupils. 

This year we are expanding our provision to include breaktimes and with so much to offer such as our Messy Kitchen, Scooters, Music Station, Sandpit, Lego Play, Tree Climbing and lots of playground equipment we are sure that all the children who attend our school will find something that interests them. 

In July 2026 we were awarded the 'Gold' standard for our provision at lunchtime. This is a fabulous achievement for everyone in our school and we are very proud of what we have achieved.
