During the autumn term, the Young Consultants have been working collaboratively on a whole-school project linked to the school kitchen. They met with the kitchen lead to discuss a fun and engaging campaign to name the kitchen fruit and vegetable mascots. As a group, they shortlisted a range of possible mascot names before taking these options back to their classes, where they led discussions and organised class votes. The Young Consultants then brought the results together, comparing outcomes from across the school to agree on the overall winning mascot names.

In addition, the Young Consultants planned, produced and performed an assembly to explain and promote the anti-bullying campaign We All Have a Power for Good, highlighting the small but important actions everyone can take to help their friends feel happy and safe. They also demonstrated excellent teamwork and leadership by organising and collectively running a whole-school danceathon, which took place over a full day and successfully raised money for Children in Need.
